Holy Family Cathedral has a spectacular interior, with amazing stained glass windows, and a deep feeling of reverance. The modern high ceilings place a feeling of solidity and strength.

Beauty, technology and faith are combined in a unique solar stained glass installation in the new diocesan Holy Family Cathedral and Catholic Pastoral Centre in northeast Saskatoon.

The large stained glass south windows that will be installed high atop the building this spring will include some 1,000 solar cells permanently embedded into the art glass.

The 65,000-square-foot Cathedral of the Holy Family includes a worship space for 1,200 that can open up to seat 2,000; a hall with kitchen facilities; programming areas for children and youth; meeting rooms, and a residence for the Holy Family pastor, as well as offices for the parish, Catholic Pastoral Centre and chancery, a diocesan Resource Library and archives.
