Ministry Scheduler Pro
How is God calling you to serve?
It takes a good number of minsters to help Sunday Mass flow smoothly:
- Hospitality ministries, such as Ushers & Greeters, helping visitors feel welcome and keeping things flowing smoothly
- people in the background, such as Sacristans (helping set up for Mass) and Sound Techs
- Altar Servers, carrying the cross and candles, assisting the priest
- Children's Liturgy teachers and helpers, leading the young members of our community through the Liturgy of the Word
- Speaking ministries, such as the Readers (who proclaim the scripture readings to the community) and Commentators (who lead the Prayers of the Faithful and may make announcements)
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion, assisting the priests in distributing Communion at Mass

- Note: Some ministries will require further screening. We will be in touch as needed.
- Children's Liturgy leaders require Safe Environment training and approval, including a Criminal Record Check.
- Extraordinary Ministers of Holy Communion require approval of the pastor, including training and commissioning.
What is Ministry Scheduler Pro? How do I use it?

Why MSP?
We moved to Ministry Scheduler Pro in 2019. It now schedules and coordinates all of our liturgical ministries (e.g. all the ministers at Sunday Mass). Why?
- You receive handy email reminders, and can easily request a sub with a couple clicks.
- You can easily let us know when you'll be away before we make the schedule. Again, all it takes is a few clicks.
- We will be able to communicate much more effectively, strengthening our parish community.
- The parish staff and office volunteers will be able to make better use of their time, thus being better stewards of your donations.
No email? No problem!
If you don't have or just don't like using email, we will continue to print up copies of the schedule and make them available in the sacristy.
