9:00 am, 11:30 am, 6:30 pm

Weekday Mass Times:

As scheduled; typically

  • Monday at 12:15 pm
  • Tuesday at 12:15 pm
  • Wednesday at 7:00 pm, with Our Lady of Perpetual Help devotion following at 7:30 pm
  • Thursday at 12:15 pm
  • Friday at 12:15 pm, and Friday at 10:00 am at Sherbrooke.

Please refer to the bulletin for this week's schedule. The noon Mass is usually held in the Queen of Peace Chapel (down the hallway past the washrooms).

Sacrament of Reconciliation:

Saturdays at 11:00 am or by appointment.

Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament:

Thursday evenings from 7:00-9:00 pm.
First Fridays of the month from 1:00-2:00 pm

You can access our parking lot from the first round-about on Nelson Road, just north of Attridge Drive, or from the Forestry Farm exit.

Trudging Through

As you’re probably aware, the last couple days have been cold. Really cold. And the days before that were snowy. Really snowy. And so we find ourselves in the midst of a good old fashioned Saskatchewan winter. I found myself chuckling this morning as I noticed a particular car in my apartment parking lot. It is totally covered in about a foot of snow, not plugged in, with snow banks surrounding it...

The Changing of Seasons

The other day I found myself genuinely angry at the weather. Now I consider myself a pleasant person; more than once I have been accused of being “too optimistic” or “naively happy” or just straight up “annoying” as a result of my glass-half-full approach to life. But the other day was different. I went outside, smelled the crisp air of almost below zero and saw with surprise that the leaves were no longer green, and felt immediately cheated. I realized that this year, there would be no gentle transition from summer to fall, fall to winter. No. Our days with light cardigans and fiery leaves are numbered. With the farmer’s almanac calling for a long and cold winter, I am bracing myself for a rude awakening back to the reality of Saskatchewan living...
